FAQ
Did the Relief Sun formula change?
No, it's still the same formula! Relief Sun fans, you may have noticed that we’ve recently renamed our iconic Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics to Relief Sun : Rice + Niacinamide. The Relief Sun formula, ingredients, and size all remain unchanged. The only thing we’ve updated is the full product name. This small update is part of our ongoing global labeling refresh, which helps make BOJ product names and information clearer and more consistent everywhere you can find our products. You may see both our OG and updated packaging as we phase out the old labels. As long as you shop Relief Sun from our global mall or one of our authorized retailers, both versions are the same product you know and love.
Which UV Filters are in Relief Sun sunscreen?
Our Relief Sun sunscreen contains the following sunscreen filters: Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, and Methylene Bis-benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol.
Do I need to use an additional moisturizer when I'm wearing this sunscreen?
That depends on your skin type! If you have dry, dehydrated, or normal skin, layer this sunscreen over Dynasty Cream (or your favorite moisturizer). Combination skin types can also add moisturizer if needed. If you have oily skin, we recommend either skipping an additional moisturizer or swapping this formula out for our Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh : Rice + B5 (SPF50+ PA++++), which is specifically formulated for oily or combination skin types.
How often should I reapply this sunscreen?
You should reapply at least every 2 hours.
Can pregnant women use this product?
While pregnant women can use this sunscreen, hormonal changes can make skin more sensitive than usual. If you’re pregnant, we always recommend consulting your doctor before adding any new skincare products to your routine.
Does this sunscreen protect skin from blue light?
One of the filters used in Relief Sun has been shown to block blue light, but our team has not conducted additional clinical tests on this formula for blue light.
